Gluten Free Thai Style Sauce

Delicious, no dairy and no gluten. This freshly made replica of a unique Thai flavoured sauce I make all the time. Put it all in a blender, blitz and your done!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 Red birdseye chilli chopped. Use 1/2 if it is a hot chilli
  • 1 large handful Fresh basil about 15g
  • 1 large handful Fresh coriander about 15g
  • 1/4 Chicken or vegetable stock cube such as Knorr stock pots
  • 1.5 tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • 1/2 tsp Dried turmeric
  • 2 Garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 inch Fresh ginger grated
  • 1 Spring onion peeled
  • 1 Lime juiced
  • 1/4 tsp Honey
  • small bit of boiling water to just cover and melt the stock cube

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients and add everything into a blender with just a small drop of boiling water to just cover the stock cube.
  • Blitz in a high powered blender until smooth and the taste is to your liking. I use a Ninja blender.
  • Add the sauce to the pan with whatever you're serving it with, I like rice noodles. Add a small drop of sesame or olive oil as well if needed.
  • Toss and sprinkle with some chopped coriander on top. Enjoy!
